Who is able to participate?
Anyone may rent a space or space's and hold their own “garage sale”. You do not have to be an NPHS family. Perfect for neighborhoods/buildings that restrict garage sales. Artists, entrepreneurs, local or home-based businesses are welcome. Great fundraiser for booster clubs, youth groups, Scout troops, and programs of all kinds!
What may be sold?
You may sell new or used items. Restrictions: no tobacco, no firearms, no drug paraphernalia, no alcohol, or anything that represents alcohol ie: no wine glasses, signs, mirrors, clothing, etc. that reference alcohol in any way…if you think something might be inappropriate, you’re probably right.
What are the participants’ responsibilities?
Participants need to arrive between 6:30 - 7:00 a.m. Bring display items such as clothing rack(s) and hangers, tables or shelves to make the most of your space. An easy-up is ok as long as it fits in the space. Big items (furniture, swing set, car, boat, jet ski, etc) can be photographed and displayed on a poster board. Participants are responsible for their own cash/change drawer. Note: An organized and inviting sales space will attract customers.
Set Up
Set-up will begin at 6:30 a.m. Cars may enter the lot to unload only and then park away from the sales area. Once your car has left the area you may begin to set up your space. For safety reasons, cars will not be allowed in the sales area after 7:30 a.m. You may bring your car back around after the sale is over to reload.
Table Rental
When you check out a table we will need you to leave an ID, It will be returned to you when the table is checked back in
Clean Up
If you rent a table, it must be checked back in before you leave. Please take everything back that you brought, unless you want to donate it. We have the Coalition for Family Harmony coming to pick up any items to be donated. You can leave the items that you want to donate in your parking spot. We just ask that you stay in the spot until the truck picks up your things. They will not take large furniture like couches, bed frames and mattresses. They will arrive at 12:15/12:30 p.m. to collect items.
Rain Date? A few drops will not delay the sale and is at the discretion of the PLS committee. If we have rainy conditions, the sale will be held on another date.
